KnitWitz is my LYS of choice. I especially like the evenings they are open late for anyone to stop in and knit. I usually only get to hang out on Friday evenings, but I look forward to going and seeing what everyone else is working on and sharing together. There's also a store "custom" of "ringing the bell" when you've completed a project. Getting to celebrate with everyone else is so much fun. A great store to just stop in, browse, knit and enjoy.

I love this store. The staff is friendly and super helpful! SPecial orders, weekly evening knit ins (Wednesday & Friday nights, spinning supplies, awesome yarns with new merchandise coming in all the time. A great place to go and be inspired and meet new Friends!

Knitwitz is GREAT! I learned to knit there three years ago and still go back for more. I especially love the variety of yarns available. Knitwitz has everything for everyone, beginner to expert. The Wednesday and Friday night knit-ins provide help, encouragement, and lots of laughter. I just love Knitwitz!

My favorite yarn shop! Knitwitz is a great atmosphere and customer focused. I love the fact that Knitwitz takes customer opinions into account when getting new yarn lines, and the willingness to special order. Also, Knitwitz is a must for spinners in the area: Spinning Saturdays and drop spindle lessons are available as well!

Knitwitz is wonderful! The shop makes you feel at home and comfortable to knit and share with fellow knitters! Kathe is all customer service....she has everything and if she does have it she will special order! You must visit this shop while in Jacksonville, FL!!!!

The only thing "wonderful", and I hesitate to use such a grand word, about Knitwitz is the selection of yarn. The "atmosphere", customer service and "comfortable-ness" is severely lacking - that is unless Misha happens to be working at the store the day you shop.

In my opinion, the selection is nothing to write home about. Most of what I saw was heavier, winter weather things. Cotton anyone? I saw very little that was useable for a Florida summer. I can understand keeping sweater things around for winter and other projects, but come on... you've got to sell to your location and audience.

It can be hard to find--I missed it twice on St. Augustine Road. Have to agreed, lots of wool and not much cotton.
