Welcome to Knitwits!
You can buy yarn anywhere, but at Knitwits we offer more than just merchandise. We at Knitwits love to have fun! We sell yarn, but we specialize in customer service. We've been voted the ‘Friendliest Knit Shop in Town,' and we take that very seriously. Let us work with you to find the perfect yarn combination, help with slip ups, or enjoy your newly-finished project. Feel free just to sit with us for an afternoon and knit – we're always looking for an excuse to socialize, and our table can always fit more chairs! We love to meet new friends, so come in and see us.

Knitwits specializes in novelty yarns of all types, as well as the more traditional wools and cottons. More than just knitting supplies, Knitwits offers classes, events, and social gatherings that provide a fun and friendly atmosphere for knitters of all ages. Knitwits is where friends are made.

Knitwits is a small shop crammed full of fun knitters. The shop is owned by Janet Haney, an energetic knitter who is never afraid to take on a challenge! Our Knitwits personal trainers are Sue and Junko, two avid and experienced knitters who are always willing to lend a hand. If you stop in, you might run into Karen, Joan, Marna, Terry, or our other teachers. And don't forget Kirsten and Joanna, our favorite college-age employees. We're all here to help, and we love to meet new faces!

This shop is beautifully laid out, with separate connected small rooms and a knitting nook.
The selection is wonderful and very enticing.
The people working there are lovely.

This shop has moved from the listed Grandview address to Buttermilk Pike. Off of I-75, head west, crossing over train tracks overpass. It is on the right almost immediately after Walgreens and across the street from AmeriStop.

I loved this little shop. They do have a nice selection & are easy to find. They are 2-3 houses past the Wal Green, less than 1 mi. off of I-75. The ladies are lovely to visit with and very helpful. I'm not in this area often, but will stop in again when I can.

The store is always bright and cheery. The staff, every one, is very knowledgeable and helpful. The classes offered are always lead by "experts" able to step you through any project and offer options. Another really cool part - they invite you to come in and sit and knit. It is a great store!!

I loved this shop. The staff was very friendly, and they had a great selection.
