Nice shop out near Kingsmill. Good selection of yarns and accessories, and the shop is lovely with lots of light and a nice big space.

Wonderful shop - great atmosphere, great service, lovely yarns. Looking forward to my next visit.

This is an absolutely excellent store - friendly, helpful staff and a cavernous selection of yarn and tools. I'm in my early 20's and look rather punk, in comparison to the clean-cut retiree crowd in town and I still got excellent service and a rousing conversation about fiber blends in sock yarns. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

Nice store. Could be a bit more friendly. Sale staff were somewhat stand-offish.

There's no simpler way to put it than...I LOVE THIS SHOP!!

My family and I visited from out of town while on our vacation. This knit shop was nice. I found the selection to be about the same as the shops in my home town in PA. I was hoping to locate a shop that had a better selection of yarns.
The shop was pleasant not very busy for a tourist area.

The store is "pretty", but no one was else was shopping & it kind of had that library feel - lol - I was afraid to really touch anything or talk very loud. The sales lady didn't acknowledge us right away and another one never did at all. When I asked about crochet hooks and she pointed at a wall...We wound up not spending our money there.

I've been there 3 times. Still trying to get some action out of the ladies. They seem to ignore you, so I just decided to shop somewhere else. Not much selection either.

I had a great experience @ this store. There were so many great yarns to touch! They had some selection of yarns that I can't get in stores near me, which is always great. Didn't see much in the way of indie dyed, but no one is perfect. They have so many great sample knits around the store! Found a sample for a spiral shawl/scarf, but they were out of the pattern. Which they special ordered for me! They even called me to let me know it had arrived! I will be going back to this store again when we are in town visiting family!

I hit this store while on vacation and the staff was very helpful. If I had not been with family I would have grabbed a cup of coffee and sat for a while and knitted as it is a very cozy store. Great selection of name brand yarns as well as some local yarn artists who I always love to support. If I am in Williamsburg again, I will stop in!

So convenient for conferences held in this part of town! One can so easily slip away from the vendor displays to go see some yarn instead.

Prices are high but that may be because they are in Williamsburg. I did find the same yarn at another local shop for much less.

I found this store on the map as soon as I knew we were going to Williamsburg for vacation. I had a great time. The selection is a little heavy on Prisim, but that just allowed me to see (and touch) yarns that I had not seen before. I loved the wall of hand dyed (I can't remember the name) and I loved the knitting chairs that they sell. As soon as I have a dedicated knitting room, I am going to get a chair. I will go back if I am in the area again.
Peace,
Laura

On a recent visit, I was delighted to find that the combined age of the two staff members present equal the average age of sales staff at many LYS. Youngish and knowledgeable. Also found that the yarn on display may be a portion of what is in stock. There are secret supplies in the back. They may have plenty of yarn for the project you want to knit if you ask. With each purchase the staff offers to wind the yarn, with a smile. Nice service, nice selection.

Nice shop and atmosphere but the staff left me a little cold. I walked around the store twice and no one said a word - I was the only customer wandering around. They did say goodbye.

The shop is very nice. I enjoyed getting a chance to touch some of the finer yarns, but the staff left me feeling like an outsider. I didn't really feel a welcoming presence in the store, and it's a shame because they have some very nice yarn options. I don't think I'll return because I really felt uncomfortable.
