This is a great LYS! The yarn selection is very sizable, the prices are some of the best I've seen, and the owner is very helpful. :)

Knitter's Palette is something new to me; the atmosphere is aalmost meditative. I use knitting as meditation and a focus tool.
The visual surroundings are artistic and harmonious; reflective of communities and repectful of history.
Only having met one of co-owners, she reflects these values as well.

PS-Initially you have mentioned times to hangout, with or w/o assistance for a small fee. I didn't see that here today. Is that something that materialized??

There is open knitting sessions every Sunday afternoon from 1 - 4 pm and the first Friday night of every month from 6 - 8 pm. In addition, there is open spinning (wheel or drop spindle) every Friday afternoon from 2 - 5 pm.
There is no fee for any of these open sessions!

My experience with Knitter's Palette has been nothing but friendly, helpful, and relaxing. The atmosphere alone would cause anyone to want to return. I have not gone into the shop without someone saying hello!

One of my favorite LYSs, the yarn selection is wonderful, and fiber is also sold here as well. Very friendly atmosphere, it's a beautiful and well-organized shop.

Stopped by this store while on vacation and wish this is one of my LYSs! The yarns in stock are all lovely and the owner cannot be any more friendly and helpful.

Pam has a beautiful, relaxing shop with a great selection of yarns. She and her staff have always been very, very helpful to me. They make me feel welcome and never make me feel like my questions are dumb. I've taken classes here from Diane and have been very pleased. She really challenged me and gave me lots of confidence. This really helped me improve my knitting. I love this store and the way it approaches business. I feel like they appreciate me.

This store is very clean and open with loads of yarns to look at. Tons of sock yarn, and many of the popular names of yarn are always in stock. Thier spinning supplies is one of the best in the twin cities with even wheels and oil. Ashford vombed top and braids as well as drop spindles. Staff is helpful and polite. This has become one of me favorite stores even though I live on the other side of the cities!

THIS YARN SHOP IS WELL-STOCKED, WELL RUN, AND WELL STAFFED. A FRIENDLY AND RELAXED ATMOSPHERE AWAITS EACH TIME I VISIT THIS STORE (WHICH IS OFTEN), AND I LOOK FORWARD TO KNITTING TIPS AND IDEAS FROM OWNER AND STAFF ALIKE. THE OVERSTUFFED LEATHER COUCH AND CHAIRS ENCOURAGE BROWSING BOOKS AND PATTERNS, AND THE ORGANIZATION OF YARN MAKES SHOPPING EASY. I RECENTLY HEARD A RUMOR THAT A FIREPLACE WILL GRACE THE ALREADY HOMEY SEATING AREA. SO ZEN!
DON'T MISS THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT THIS SHOP!
