We stopped here on our annual KnitAway weekend and were warmly greeted by the owner. A few of us got there first and were browsing asking questions and admiring her hand dyed yarn from several local sources, including herself. The rest of our group joined in and a number of us made purchases. The shop is not large but it was friendly, had a good selection and many samples to admire. There were other customers as well buying and sitting and knitting. I would definitely stop in again if I am in the area!

Love this place. I've been visiting since I started knitting in 2010 and the owner has been a great help with my education. And so much pretty soft yarn to pet!

It is so nice to have a friendly knit shop in town. There is always a helpful staffer in the shop to help me. The yarn selection here has greatly improved in the past few months so if you haven't checked it out lately give K1W2 another try.

Regarding the only negative comment here: I went to a few of the Thursday knit nights you mentioned and the group was always friendly and welcoming regardless of age, race or gender. (I'd still be attending if my Thursday night schedule allowed it.)

I don't know what I'd do without Knit One Weave Too and all the wonderful people there. The shop has a wonderful selection of yarn to feed my addiction, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. There is always a group of people sitting around knitting and chatting, and the Thursday night knit nights are a blast. Sometimes there is more giggling than knitting, but it's a great group of people and we always have so much fun. I do hope that anonymous will give it another shot, as I've never seen the owner be anything but friendly, happy, and extremely helpful. She's really a wonderful person and goes out of her way to make the shop a relaxed and friendly place to be. (Not to mention that she can fix ANY knitting mistake you can throw at her - thank goodness!!) :)

Glad to have a knitting shop in town. Now I don't have to drive to St. Louis just for quality yarn! The person who helped me on 5/28 was very patient and helpful. I interrupted her own knitting several times with my questions and she remained friendly and cheerful.

Thank you to the wonderful young lady at the shop on Saturday, August 9. You were so very helpful in locating the perfect pattern for a cable vest. I would definitely shop there frequently if I did not live in a different state!!!
