Great atmosphere, lots of seating and a great tuesday knitting group. Best to go when you have lots of time.

Has a very wide range of yarns, especially Malabrigo. Service can be variable, particularly on weekends. Nice to stop by on a Tuesday afternoon and just sit and knit with other lovely knitterly folk.

Excellent yarn shop, great selection and lots of space to wander around. I took a wonderful sock class with Carla and will go back every time I'm in Pittsburgh.

I visited this shop while on a trip to Pittsburgh. I was welcomed and had an enjoyable conversation with the staff there. The store looks inviting with many places to sit and knit. Will definitely try to go there again!

Love the shop. Great selection of yarn. The staff is very helpful and the atmosphere is so welcoming. I would go back as often as I could

I stopped by on a visit to Pittsburgh, and was very pleased with the store. My sister bought some yarn and wanted it wound, but it was tangled and couldn't be done on the ball winder. The staff cheerfully volunteered to hand wind it.
Cozy and comfortable, dogs and kids seemed to be welcome just as much as knitters.
We'll be going back next time we're in town!

I make a point of stopping in to Knit One each and every time I'm in Pittsburgh! I really love this shop! Fantastic selection of yarns and patterns, wonderful staff, and I stay in touch with their newsletter,! I wish I could have come to their Cat Bordhi class... *sigh* To me, this is everything an excellent yarn shop SHOULD be!

Wanted to explore LYS while in Pittsburgh for the PKC show. Did not add much to my stash from the show BUT when I visited Knit One, it was all over. What a great shop !
The assistant (Rochelle) couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and she also gave me time to browse without interruption. Even though she said they were low on inventory because of the show, I thought they had excellent choices, alot of yarns that are not in the mainstream yarn stores. I'm allergic to wool and sometimes its difficult to find non-wool yarn that I like. Knit One had ALOT to choose from. Would definitely recommend visitng this shop if you are in/near Pburg, well worth the trip
