Really friendly and accommodating staff, patiently-taught and informative drop-spindle class and a nice selection of spinning wheels and fibers. I HIGHLY recommend this - my favourite yarn store in Ottawa.

My favourite yarn shop in Ottawa. Learned to knit from staff member named Emily. Highly recommended. Am addicted to the odd ball bin. Great finds!

They are very patient with small children, too. There is also an ethetitian (sp?) in the building. If you have sensitivities to the smell of nail polish or remover, etc, you should be aware.

My favourite yarn store to visit whenever I'm in Ottawa for the weekend. Incredible prices, great yarns, and amazing people. I cannot say enough good things about Emily, I remember visiting before Emily was hired and the place just didn't have the same appeal. Carolyn and the new girl who's name I don't know (the one with the glasses and blond hair?) are also really nice and friendly.

Their new store is knock you off your feet incredible! It's huge and there's so much new yarn.

I cannot say enough good things about Knit Knackers! Great staff, great yarn, great prices. All the staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful - Emily especially.
Every time I go, their selection has expanded. I've never left without buying something.

Great store. Fantastic selection - friendly service. Although I appreciate that there's a lot more room in the new location, I did love the coziness of the old location - in comparison, the new location seems a little institutional to me. However, the staff and selection more than make up for the lack of atmosphere in the new location.

Oh my god, this store is soooooo amazing!! A crazy amount of yarn, from cheap to the most gorgeous expensive stuff, some really reasonably priced gorgeous yarn! And a whole lot of it I haven't seen anywhere else, a fantastic collection!

I was even more excited about the amount of unspun fiber they had in the back half of the store! Some of it I didn't even know existed (fiber made from milk? and corn? crazy!). A fabulous selection of more conventional fibers too, for very reasonable prices! Most of it was undyed, but there was a wall with dyed top as well. I can't get anything like this selection near where I live, so I was ecstatic to see all of this!

The staff were SUPER friendly and helpful, even though I took ages to choose what fiber I wanted.

This is my new favourite store, everything was just so wonderful!

Love this place. Even when I just go in for one thing, I end up spending at least half an hour looking and touching and pining after the many many yarns.

Plus, you get a 10% off if you buy ten balls! This danger has lead me to spend an additional half hour looking through everything again to pick out just two more balls...

This store is my second home! Staff is amazing: Emily and Juliana are so cool! I took yarn spinning classes and recently bought a spinning wheel from them: Juliana has been more than helpful and so patient with me.

Magasin avec un beau choix de belles laines. N'oubliez pas d'apporter l'adresse car le magasin est situé au deuxième étage, donc peu visible de la rue. Confortable divan pour permettre aux conjoints d'attendre qu'on est terminé nos achats. ATTENTION: présence d'un lapin, donc prenez vos précautions si vous avez des allergies.
