Shop hours are:

Monday: Closed
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday*, Saturday: 10:30a-5:30p
Wednesday: 10:30a-8pm
Sunday: 12p-5p

This is a cute little shop in Old Town Alexandria. The selection is limited, but good. They have lots of Rowan yarns, and the staff is very helpful!

I have been here several times. Their selection of yarn is excellent, one of the best I've seen. However, and to me, this is a big however, I have not found their staff to be friendly or helpful at all. Most of the time, they are too busy knitting and talking to each other to stop knitting; it's almost as though they resent you being there. I probably won't go back unless I need a specific yarn that nobody else carries (and with all of the yarn shops in the D.C. area, I can't imagine that happening.)

I have to agree with the poster on September 16. I was there this past spring, and found the staff to be off-putting. (Although their dogs were cute!) Selection was a little overwhelming, and no one stepped up to offer help. I left empty handed.
