Notes
This is a nice hole-in-the-wall yarn store with the world's (well, at least Central Florida's) nicest store owner. She loves it when her customers sit there and knit, and she'll always help you with any technique. She carries a handful of different yarn brands, and will order something if she doesn't have it in stock. Of the three LYS locations in Central Florida, this one is by far the most comfortable!

I bought a lot of this sparkly yarn from Knit! to make 2 clapotis for my bridesmaids. When I purchased all of it, the owner gave me a free copy of the latest Interwearve. Marnie, she's the best and super-friendly.

No question is stupid. Beginners are welcomed and encouraged.

This is a wonderful shop, even if you are a crocheter. Some knitting shops are a little snobish when it comes to other yarny crafts. Not Marnie! Through her encouragement and classes, I learned so much more about knitting that now I prefer it to crocheting. Although I gave this shop 4 stars for atmosphere and selection, it really is the best spot in the area. Give Knit a try!

I'm a regular at Knit and enjoy the time I spend there. The people are friendly and always earger to help or admire each other's work. Marnie and her sister Ruth are patient teachers who are able to raise your knitting to a new level. Like most knitters, I've visited most of the yarn shops within 50 miles and this is the one I call "home".

Super comfortable place to shop, chat, knit or just generally hang out. I visited this on a yarn crawl with 2 friends and we go so immersed in talking yarns and patterns that we totally forgot the time - that's the sign of a good shop.
Marnie is also really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I can't wait to go back!

Nice shop, they kindly offered assistance and didn't hover although I was obviously new to their shop. If I were looking for selection for a large project I might think the selection to be somewhat limited. As I was just looking for items my LYS doesn't carry, I was able to find several brands and fiber combinations that followed me home. There was a class going on in the back and several women sitting up front talking and knitting, very friendly. They even offered me homemade fudge. I'll visit again if I'm in the area.

Best shop in Orlando metro area. The owner is kind and generous with her time, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The selection is a bit lacking, but what they have is quality stuff.

Highly recommended. Owner is super nice and friendly (if a bit distracted at times). Could do with a bit of a better selection, but what she has is very nice. Always make a stop when I'm in the area.

Lovely shop, nice selection although small... biggest beef is some of her regulars, seems some of them skipped basic manners in school. Marnie is really wonderful and I love her bulky yarn!

Wonderful little yarn shop. Great owner! Very helpful. Has a nice selection. My top pick of the yarn shops in the Orlando area.

This is an awesome shop with a great owner. She doesn't have the largest yarn selection, but it's a good selection and not overpriced like so many other stores.
Friendly, warm and cozy. What else could you ask for?

I visited this shop while on a trip to Florida. It was a delightful experience. Of the 3 shops I visited in the Orlando area, this was by far my favorite. The other shops were larger with a nice selection, but I was undoubtly ignored. In Knit!'s, I was warmly welcomed and felt appreciated. I even went back out to the car to get my project bag. Marnie is charming!

I am looking for cashmere in brown, camel or beige to make a neck scarf. Do you have any?

This is the best yarn shop in the Orlando area. The owners, Marney and Ruth, are very knowledgable. The selection is great. If they don't have it, they will order it for you. Their selection ranges from high end (Rowan, Madelin Tosh) to middle of the pack (Berroco) yarns (Berroco produces great yarns, I am mainly referring to price here). They carry a large selection of needles (Addi, Crystal Palace, Chiao Goo, Inox and Knitter's Pride). The atmosphere in the shop is kind, warm and cozy. I was a regular at the shop and we always greeted customers when they walked in, so I am not too sure about the reference to the lack of manners. As it is mainly a one woman shop, you may have to wait a bit for Marney to get to you, but she will get to you. Also, feel free to ask any questions of the ladies/gentlemen sitting at the table - they are always happy to help! :0)

Nice store. At first, I thought it was in a neighborhood because of the GPS, but it's across/near a gas station on the road.
It is a small shop. Small, but the yarn is organized into cubbies and isn't growing on the floor.
I'm not sure which lady (but one of the owners) was friendly and was helpful if you needed help. The shop also has average-low prices, which is hard to find in Florida.
