Lots of terrific yarns; good variety and not necessarily the usual stuff.
Extremely helpful staff. Bright and cheerful shop.

Alot nicer now that it's under new ownership. She's bringing in some nice yarns now, instead of alot of acryllic stuff!

Poor lighting; selection wasn't all that great; service was HORRID; we were barely greeted when we walked in & the only person who paid any attention to us at all what the Yarn Company REP. I will NOT be back.

The new owner is trying hard. However, classes were uncomfortable due to the fact that everyone in class sat close together. It was difficult to concentrate while hearing others talking and/or getting help. This was reason enough for me to not take any more classes here.

Was not impressed. Asked for a specific yarn, and was told "We don't carry that. It's $30 a skein, you know." Actually, no, it's $15 a skein, and if I was asking for it, I'm willing to pay that. Looked for a substitute, and was told, "You need to get the same kind of yarn to make gauge, otherwise you sweater won't turn out." No, really? Gosh, thanks for sharing that gem of knitting wisdom. With all the yarn stores in Lancaster, I find no need to go back there. I don't need condescension with my yarn.

I took a sock class here and wasn't that impressed with the teacher (who was not the owner). She seemed annoyed with my questions and that I wasn't catching on quickly. However, I do like the selection of yarns.

Delightful shop. Sweet owner.
Very nicely organized-- yarn is held in high esteem here and it shows.
Noro takes high position within these walls.
The lighting was right on-- don't know what the other reviewer was referring to. Perhaps the owner changed the bulbs (smile).
Definitely worth the visit.
