Nice shop with decadent yarns. A little more clean and victorian than warm and cozy.

Lovely, clean and organized, with beautifully displayed and inspiring sample garments. Every type of yarn, thread, floss, or ribbon your heart could desire. A little pricey, but oh, the choices.

Its a nice store with a good selection. But that being said, as a younger knitter, I've never felt welcome in this store. While no one has ever been mean or rude to me in the store, I get very unwelcoming vibes from the knitting group in the back and from the owner herself. I once went in asking for 60" circulars and she laughed at me, and very condescendingly told me I didn't need needles that long. I was still an inexperienced knitter at the time and I was just following the directions. I found out from other knitters in the area that I'm not the only one who feels this way about the store. If I'm desperate, I'll go to the store. Other than that, I'll either make yarn substitutions and go to other yarn stores, or just go online.

I have not been to this store in a few years because I don't live near Fresno, but I have to say that it was delightful to happen on to it when I was frequently visiting the Fresno area. Lots of great yarn, friendly service, and a lovely place to hang out and knit.
