This charming knit shop is just what Kent Island needs! The owner is knowledgeable & friendly. The shop has monthly special events, usually on a Sunday, that are well worth attending! A variety of classes are offered for all skill levels.

The shop owner is very knowledgeable and excited about knitting and crocheting. There are classes for all ages, examples are Spring Break classes for teens, beginner, advanced, special project, and one-on-one classes are offered.
They also have sit and knit night where you might see socks, scarves, purses, etc. The owner may even offer you a cup of tea. New stock seems to come in all the time, along with notions, both standard and novelty. And the knitting needle selection is outstanding. The customer service is extraordinary, and she'll helpfully point out new fiber if you'd like assistance. Most classes are held after hours so you never feel you're in competition with customers.

Sue, the owner is really knowledgeable about her yarn, needles, and tools. For a new store, she has a great selection of the basic yarns - Cascade and Berroco - and I am happily surprised that she also has quite a few locally hand-dyed yarns such as Bare Sheep and Blue Heron yarns. This is a fantastic new addition to the Eastern Shore and it is a shop you don't want to miss!

Pleasant and airy, small but nice selection, knowledgeable and friendly owner. A small selection of local products - I am always looking for spinning fibers and batts, but may have come at just the wrong time (right after MD Sheep and Wool), as she only had a small amount. Some local hand-dyes, nice too, but not my colors. I got some Blue Heron cotton plus bling -very exciting. Nice store!
