A long-time resident of 4th Avenue - you'll be surprised at the amount of yarn in this tiny store. Not flashy, no place to really sit and look at books. If you don't see what you want (and you probably won't because of the way the yarn is shelved), ask. The staff are very willing to help.

Large selection but difficult to see what they actually got because of the shelving. No place to look at the patterns and the service and atmosphere was below average. If you know what you want, then it will be fine.

The only time I went, it smelled of mothballs and plastic. Without petting the yarns, it just wasn't fun to shop, so I left & have never been back.

great store, great selection and great staff - helped me with projects, find the hard to find and just let me play for as long as I want - worth checking out

Don't let the atmosphere deter you. The staff will let you take out the yarn from the bags. I have taken several classes and highly recommend the instructor.
