Granny's (yes, Granny is there to offer advice and suggestions)is a jewel in the crown of Islip's Main Street. It seems a though every time I visit there is someone working on a project with Granny. The atmosphere is always inviting and the service is exceptional. You meet the most lovely people at Granny's!

I made my first visit to Granny's yesterday. Without a doubt, this is the best yarn shop I have ever visited! The people are warm, welcoming, and very talented, and the yarn stock is spectacular. The selection of books and magazines is outstanding. The prices are really good, too. Don't miss this shop -- you won't be sorry!

The yarn stock is indeed spectacular, it seems like they have some of everything. I wish they offered classes, or opened late at least one night.

Granny's has one of the best selections on long island. Everyone is always there to help with your yarn selection or project advice. The prices are great too!

Yarn this is the place the hours have expanded to include a late night here are the new hours.

Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 - 4:00 and Thursday Till 7:00pm

Hi Granny

Not sure if you remember me, I'm the "other mary" at colours years ago...I've been living in fla for 5 years, last year my husband died, and I am in desperate need of an apt up there that I can afford. Its just me and my son, who's 20 and hardly ever home. Do you have anything?

Please write back, if you don't, but you know someone who does, if you could pass along that info, I would so greatly appreciate it
