The only place I go! Her hours are tough sometimes, but it is well worth it! The amount of personalized attention I get is second to none in this day and age!

I was looking for a new "hobby" and decided to try knitting. I found Granny's, and the owner (Mickey) was wonderful in teaching me one-on-one via hourly classes. She is an "expert" in her field and had so much patience in helping me to achieve my goal to knit. Her store is filled with an array of yarns and accessories. It's worth a visit.

I love this little store! Mickey is a professional knitter and also offers private lessons. I live in Bergen County, NJ, and the store is very accessible for me. I am a frequent shopper at Granny’s for knitting supplies, and have also purchased baby outfits and blankets Mickey has made. Hours of operation are daytime and Saturdays---unless you call in advance for a private appt. Good stuff---check this store out if you are a knitter at heart and happy knitting to all!

Grannie's is a great place to learn how to knit. If you are looking for a patient, talented, and energetic person to teach you Mickey is your girl!I pass this store all the time and had never seen it. It's a small homey place and Mickey is always welcoming and extremely helpful. Happy Knitting!

This is a great little shop. It's rare to find places like these nowadays. Mickie is a great teacher and very patient. I learned how to cast on and knit in one hour and am well on my way to knitting my first scarf. Great store and owner.

I'm an avid knitter, who loves detail-oriented, colorful designs. I've only been knitting a year, but I can competently complete sweaters and fair isle - thanks to Mickie. A solid foundation is key to good knitting and Mickie taught me that.
