Went searching for this store and it was not at this address.

That's okay you didn't miss anything but a bad experience. I will never return there again. Everyone I know has had a bad experience there also.

What sort of bad experience did you have? I like the store okay. I'm not crazy about the atmosphere, I always imagined yarn shops being more cosy... But I have shopped here three times and even made an exchange and return once and it went just fine. I am curious what other experiences others have had, though... Details!

About the address... It's kinda tucked away so you have to keep your eye out. I overlooked it the first time, too. But it's two or three shops down from the Capriotti's sandwich shop that is in the same shopping strip.

I have only had good experiences here. I've been a few times, and Gail has been very helpful. I took a class there, too, and the instructor was patient and knowledgable. The yarn selection is limited (I'd like to see some popular brands like Noro and Misti Alpaca), but I always manage to find something I like.

I visited this store while vacationing in Vegas. It's tucked away in a strip mall which means it's not huge, but, thankfully, they've arranged the store so that it's still open and inviting--not crammed with so much stuff that you can't move around or shop freely.
I'm bummed that they didn't carry three of my favorites: Noro, Madelinetosh, and Malabrigo, but I did get some lovely Mountain Colors yarn at a 30% discount. Score!
I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, not pushy at all. The staff's friendliness is memorable enough that I'll visit the store again next time I'm in town.

I visited Dec 31st 2010 - after reading all these post on bad experiences I was expecting not so great.
But after wandering a while and looking I was helped very nicely. since I was on vacation I and was going to try this shop I brought several different patterns for yarn. lots of yarn stores do not keep lots of inventory and anything over 4 skeins is an iffy find. But she helped me find some yarn for a smaller project and It some Yarn I very much enjoyed working with.
All in All I would go back - I would just say slow to warm up and not the cosy yarn shops I am used to in the sound Puget sound. But I'll go back to get some of that yummy merino 8 yarn, that I can't seem to find anywhere else!!!
