YES.. I THOUGHT I SMELLED SMOKE AND SAID TO MY SISTERS OH THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE. IT IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE... HER YARN SMELLS OF SMOKEEEEEEEEEEEEE
THREE KNIITERS THAT SHALL NEVER GO ANYSHWERE NEAR THAT NASTY SHOP AGAIN.

Nice little shop in a quaint section of town. Decent selection yarn, the owner was friendly and helpful.

Wow... I have been there plenty of times and have never, ever smelled smoke. I am surprised to read that post. This is a very cute, rather small shop that is very well organized with a very good selection of high quality yarns. Very clean.

I love this shop! I am greeted by name, and I'm not really a regular...I am made to feel at home and Deb is great. Before I have a question about a yarn, she's ready to answer it and help me out!!

I have been to this shop and must say that Illinois has a law against smoking in public buildings so I knew that it could not be smoke that anyone smells inside. However, there is a smell in this store that all I could relate it too would be smoke, stale lingering smoke. I have made a purchase, against better judgment, that I am not happy with. From the first step inside I thought to myself that there was a smell and that it would be unbearable if it is in the yarn. When I arrived at home (over an hour away) I grabbed the bag, which I had put into the back seat while driving down the highway as I thought there was a smell emitting from the bag. When I opened the bag I was greeted with a horrible smell that is to this day, 3 months airing out, still stuck in the yarn. I do not get a chance to get there during business hours to get it returned and when I called I was told I could get store credit, there is no way I am going to get anything from this store again. It is bad enough that I have to live with yarn that cost me over $35 that I just cannot use.
If you do not believe me, come and have a whiff. I have a smoke free home and this yarn is still sitting out to air out to no avail.
