Come and browse all day ... are you kidding? A wall full of tubes of buttons -- aisles of trim -- miles of fabric? Not to mention yarn for $2/ball, including crochet cotton, eyelash yarns, brand names. What you see is what you get, as they buy manufacturers' lots; worth the visit.

Mostly acrylics and novelty yarns, but you can't beat the price. Great place for cheap crappy needles & hooks.

How can you not love this place? It's the Winner's/Filene's basement/Loehman's of knitting (and sewing) supplies. It is in a crummy neighbourhood (though safe during the day), has big-box thrift store ambience (none), no service (but nice staff) and the selection is whatever they might have at the moment - and everything is $1.99/ball! I am told Dressew used to have only novelty and cheap yarn, but over the past year, Dressew has received several huge shipments of first class yarns - from Rowan, RYC, Nashua, Gedifra, Regia. It's true, there's lots of cheap lines of yarn too, and some of the yarns or colours may be discontinued, but so what? Go and see what they have.

I am looking for 20" separable black zippers. Do you stock these or do you know where I can find them?
Thank you.
