I visited this shop over the Labor Day holiday and had a good look around. Very friendly place, neat and very well organized. The yarn selection wasn't really my thing, but I am sure it is geared towards the warmer climate knitter. If I had my knitting with me I am sure I would have been welcomed to sit and knit a bit. I would visit this shop again if I am visiting Destin.

I visited your shop in early November. I purchased "trellis ribbon". I don't think that is the correct name however. The brand was Eros. I cannot find it here in my area. Do you ship? I'd like 3 more balls, different colors. Let me know and i will give you my CC#.

I visited this yarn store while on vacation. As soon as I walked in the owner/sales clerk made sure to inform me that they would be closing in 30 minutes.
So THAT was a great way to kick off my shopping experience. So sorry to bother you.
The selection was pretty good, but I also got the feeling that the clerk did not want me touching the yarns (fiber damage?) and commented on most of the yarns I touched. I really felt as though she were wishing I would hurry up and get out so that she could close up the shop.
It was a Saturday afternoon if that makes any difference, and the woman had a white car out front (convertible). I guess she had better things to do than take my money off my hands, so I decided that I had better things to do than buy something at her yarn shop while I was on vacation. Thanks anyway.

Both myself and the wife are quite satisfied with this store. We visited it while on a convention in town, and came back for the Thursday sit 'n knit; we had a wonderful 2 hours there with the owner and other customers, and picked up some yarn I haven't seen at our usual LYS back near home.

I visited the Destin Yarn Shop mid July after picking up knitting earlier this summer. Mrs. Sharon helped me pick out so many different kinds of fun yarn that I could make scarfs to give to my friends. She gave me a really fun scarf pattern that has been a HUGE hit. I came to her shop two times in three days, and wanted to go back a third time.
They do not have this quality or variety of yarn in many local yarn shops around the south. I loved that there was so much to choose from!!! I'm going back to the yarn shop anytime that we are in Destin. Excellent service and prices! Thank you!!!
