Deisy Design was founded in 1966 by Deisy Barnevik-Berglund. Our concept has always been to work with and for quality and keep true to our motto ”Knitted is comfortable!” Graduating from a design education, Deisy started her career by designing and knitting garments for women such as dresses, skirts, bridal outfits and tunics. Gradually the company grew and the knitwear was sold in fashionable stores in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Oslo, London, Vienna, Paris and New York.
Today Deisy's daughter Linda Berglund-Skrubbe is in charge of the store which is located at Kungsportsavenyn in the center of Gothenburg. The focus is today on yarns and pattern design – still in the spirit of Deisy's sense of adding that little extra to every design. As a Drops Superstore we always have full supply of Drops yarns. You will also find lots of colourful and beautiful yarns from brands as Marks&Kattens, Noro, Artyarns, Colinette and many others.
Visit us also for troubleshooting if you get stuck in your knitting project. We will do our best to give you the assistance you need. Or, just pop by for some yarny inspiration!
