Notes
This used to be a Longs Drugs, but was just bought out by CVS. This is a fabulous place for quick and dirty gotta get it right now itches. Not the best selection, but there are knitting needles and crochet needles and basic supplies. The yarns are standard mainstream acrylic types. I hadn't yet looked for any cotton types, but who's gonna complain when you can grab it at 3am in a crochet frenzy?

Circa 2005, when this was a Long's Drugs, it was open 24 hours. They had a limited selection of mostly acrylic yarn and plastic and aluminum straight knitting needles and crochet hooks. Mostly I came here for middle-of-the-night emergencies, none of them knitting related that I can recall.
They also carried hardware (e.g., basic tools, batteries, fuses), gardening supplies, art supplies, sewing supplies (including a small selection of fabrics), candy and snacks, picture frames, sports equipment, toiletries, drugs, gift wrap and cards, toys, some cheap clothing, and there was a Top Dog inside. All right next to CCAC. Perfect for impulsive insomniac art students.
