Crafty Planet is my favorite yarn store. The owners are friendly and helpful and the store is charming and cute. And best of all, it is tucked into a little old store front in NE minneapolis.

I've only been there once. The store is very charming and cute. It doesn't have a lot of yarn selection, but it does have really cute fabrics! The staff was friendly without being obtrusive.

After driving by this storefront many times, I finally stopped in last week. The selection is definitely not strong but lots of colors and lots of ideas for lost of craft. The fabric selection is inspiring! FYI: They are moving down the street a piece by the end of March.

The yarn selection still hasn't improved but the fabrics and the support are well worth a visit. When I was there they were hosting a "start sewing" class, so it's a great place for those who haven't done anything crafty since their Girl Scout days.
