My sister and I visited this store on our very own yarn crawl, and it was great. The lady there welcomed us warmly as she sat mending a pile of knitting. She got up several times to clarify answers to questions we asked. The shop had many many samples knit up as well as crocheted up, and lots of time we wanted to know what kind of yarn was used in that particular one. I will be going back. This store looks small from the outside, but it goes back far, and has a nice quilting side too, if you're into that.

A good selection of yarns, very well-stocked with Brown Sheep. The store is both knit- and crochet-friendly which isn't necessarily the case at all yarn stores. Very good selection of loose patterns, though they weren't particularly well-organized. Much larger selection of yarns than the outside would lead a shopper to believe. Well organized and easy to find the yarns. Good selection of books.

Visited this store with friends. Very poor lighting, probably a fire hazard the way things are stored all over the isles and on the floor. Seating is set up so that browsers cannot view portions of the yarn when people are seated. Fabric side seams to have a nice selection and an odd assortment of novelty buttons.
