They are tirelessly working on the atmosphere (new shelving, purging, reorganizing, etc...) if you haven't been to CY in a bit, it's most likely going to be new to you now! The owner is as nice as can be, and doesn't have a case of the 'snobs' the way some stores can sometimes. :-) love her!

This wonderful shop will meet the needs of new and experienced knitters. They have a broad selection of yarn, patterns, and accessories and they love knitting. The owner and staff are experienced knitters who give great advice. A welcoming atmosphere and comforting for all fiber addicts!

I love this place! Kathryn has helped me out of many a bind. She helped me figure out a gauge issue that was driving me crazy. She has helped with substitutions, when the yarn called for was not available (saved me some money too!) She also has an amazing amount of yarn in that store. Wish she could have the whole building!
