Cathi's new location is just west of the hospital and a bit easier to find. It's a lovely, older home on the corner with lots of windows, which provide natural light and makes it easy to see the true colors of the yarn.
Cathi is a very kind and calm soul who is helpful in a quiet way. She always has a shop full of friendly knitters, so the place is quite welcoming.

Cottage Knits is a great yarn shop. The owner is a lovely, caring, and very helpful lady. I especially enjoy the atmosphere and the nice presentation of the merchandise. If you must, travel the distance, it is well worth the time.

Not only is Cottage Knits a great shop, I can't wait until the gas fireplace is lit, so that I can sit and knit by it with good friends, and new ones.

I recently stopped in at Cottage Knits and was so delighted by the place I was speechless. Cathi is a wonderful, patient, caring soul. Her Yarns and supplies are top of the line, affordable, some of the best Ive seen anywhere. I ,who has only been a avid crocheter spent a few minutes with Cathi and left the store knowing the basics to knitting. Not only was she helpful but also she has experienced knitters who offer very inexpensive classes for all difficulty levels in knitting. Cathi has not only opened a Yarn store but also has created a warm knitting atmosphere on the corner of Pennsylvania ST.

yeah, cathi is great. she's so nice and patient. I'm 11 years old and last summer they held classes to teach us how to knit. before i went to that class, i had no CLUE what a knitting needle was, and now i feel like a pro. they help you if you don't understand, and if you have any children (i think this is the age limit) 9-11 you can sign them up this summer. Julie, the instructor for the class, helped me understand EVERYTHING! they are all so helpful! plus they have great yarn and reliable knitting needles (not the bendy, junky kind) amazing job!

I was looking for some Yarn to learn to use a CSM, Cathy was great and i was able to get 4 hanks in no time, the Ladys @ Cottage Knits are Wonderful, If you have a need for Knitting supplys in the Columbus In area this is the place to go. Thank you Cathy for your time I hope the "Stitch in the Ditch" is a lot of Fun.
