Cornerstone Yarns has a section in the back where you can sit and work on projects. The people are always friendly and helpful, and if they don't have the specific yarn you're looking for, they'll be happy to special order it for you. The store itself is located in Richfield, just down the road from Penninsula. It's a gorgeous area, and one that always makes me feel more "crafty". When I need something I can't find at a big box craft store, I generally call Cornerstone. Even though they are an hour away from my house, they're worth the trip. And if I get tied up in traffic and am running late, they're willing to stay open a little late so that I can pick up my special order. *That's* service!

I visited this store this weekend since I was at my in-laws for Easter and was in need of a hook for a new project. Great selection of great yarns, helpful and friendly staff. I didn't have her put me in the computer since I live in New York, but considering I'll probably be at my in-laws again, I'll probably go into Cornerstone again too. Next time I'll be prepared with more projects in need of yarn, so I can justify buying some of their yummy alpaca or something.

I really like this store. Great selection of different yarns. I was able to order yarns for two projects and they did not have to wait long at all. Very cozy, friendly atmosphere and the staff is friendly and helpful. Also, they display numerous finished projects as inspiration which is most helpful for me.

I loved this store! There are patterns hanging everywhere and envisioning the pattern in a yarn that is close at hand is so easy to do! The owner is welcoming and accomodating too! I will be returning for more yarn and knitting ideas often!

I went here today and it was empty. It looks like it just closed.
ETA: I guess they just moved locations. Oh well, maybe I'll get a chance to stop by next year.

Love this store! I have frequented several stores in the area, but this one is the most customer-friendly. I casually mentioned that I wanted to learn continental knitting, and the owner told me to just stop by and they'd help me! She is very willing to order something if she doesn't have it, and if you need needles, this is the place to go!
