Stacey and the girls over at Colorful are great!! They have some of my favorite brands (Tilli Thomas, Malabrigo, etc) over there. I love that they are open 7 days a week!! That is a huge plus. I highly recommend stopping in and checking them out.

Carmin is always friendly and helpful. Great selection of yarn and books. Also has good light. Knit on

Whomever is posting this incorrect information regarding other knitting stores has a real character flaw! Please don't involve other stores in your personal problems!

I love this store and since the closing of YarnArts in Parker it will be my first choice of places to go. It is so warm and friendly and they carry a great selection of yarn.

Gotta love this store and their vast selection of beautiful yarn. Friendly and casual atmosphere. Also, it's located next to the remodeled South Glen Mall, with fabulous stores, which will be reopening soon. A one stop shopping excursion!

Maybe because they have a psycho stalker off her meds? Keep it to yourself nutty

I don't know who "Jules" is, but I would not call you a "customer".

I logged on to this site to post some reviews of Denver area shops that I visited recently only to find these bizarre threads posted. This is so unfortunate! I visited Denver and found out about your local yarn stores from this site, and I have to say that had these bizarre, spiteful, very personal comments been here when I was trying to figure out where to go, I probably wouldn't have gone to any of these shops. I would have thought these stores are a haven for insensitive, selfish, immature antics and would have avoided them. It's completely inconsiderate to the store owner, potential out of town customers/visitors, and all clientele. I hope these comments get cleaned up off this site, it is so unfortunate.
That being said, I really enjoyed my visit to this shop. I felt no sales pressure, which is important to me, I hate being followed around a shop. I enjoyed the yarn selection and atmosphere. It does look like it's in an office building, so don't let the location spook you, it's a great little store!

Great store, my favorite in the area, along with String in Highlands Ranch and HollyBerry in the Springs.
HUGE selection of yarn, great knitting bags, needles lots of stuff on sale all the time. Best selection of laceweight yarns I've ever seen.

My favorite yarn store, hands down, in the Denver area! It's a small store, but it's packed with yarn, books and an outstanding selection of needles. The owner will order anything you can't find there. Great sales on a regular basis and always the newest yarns. I love that I can browse through their selection, but have someone ready to help me when I need help or am ready to check out. Open 7 days a week!

This shop does have a really good selection of yarn, but a lot of the cubbies are so stuffed with yarn, if you pull out a skein a bunch of them fall on the floor. The only employee there was very nice and helpful, once she got around to me. Would be great if they had more space but I'm sure I'll be back.

I have been curious about knitting for awhile...I stopped by Colorful Yarns one evening ~15 minutes before they were closing just to "check it out". In a short amount of time they had me knitting the knit stitch and was able to get required resources (yarn and sticks) for < $10! The next time I stopped by, I ended up going home practicing the purl stitch. They have awesome customer service and I love their hours (e.g. open on Sunday and late on Tuesday!)...it's great for those who work during the day. Tuesdays you can hang out and knit with others 6-8pm and learn a lot. It's the only store I've bought product from so far. If you're new to knitting, I would highly recommend you stop by. They are great!

I've been here several times since this shop is literally blocks away from my in-laws, and if I didn't have so much in my stash, I'd go here more often. For a small shop in an unexpected location, the merchandise is well organized, the selection is great and the service was terrific. And I love the little sofa room in the back. I wonder if they're going to move into the new shopping area in Southglenn? Just wondering

Love, love, loved this store. Absolutely jam packed, but in a good way. Great selection and I found the staff friendly & helpful, but not overly so. Very happy we went.

When I'm ready for a yarn fix I go to Colorful Yarns. Its a great place just to wander, look at all the colors and touch the yarn. Stacey and the girls are always so friendly and helpful with making selections for the pattern you brought in and aren't sure what to use. It can be difficult to find the first time because it is in an office-type building, instead of a strip mall, but well worth turning west on Easter.

So much beautiful yarn! When I visit I literally can feel the heat from my credit card burning a hole in my pocket! Lovely selection of sock yarn to boot!

I was in your shop yesterday and you said you would email me a cowl done in the feather and fan. You said it was a free pattern. I just did not want you to forget as I already bought the twister yarn to make it. Thank You so much, I just love your shop.
