how can I get the correct pattern for the Gossamer Shell Scarf attrib uted to TamaRA. The directions inOne skein Wonders does not make sense. Thanks,

Hello Anonymous. If you need to ask Tamara about a pattern, she is still around. Wednesdays at the Nokomis Cafe 6-8pm for Knit Nite (50th St. & 28th Av S). It's free so you could just drop in and talk to her.
She still is having workshops and I have received emails from her Clickity AOL email address recently. If you call the store phone#, it forwards to her cellphone.

I am trying to knit the Gossamer Shell Scarf from One Skein Wonders and I have a huge complaint!
The scarf measures 7 inches wide and the gauge is 20 stitches =4 inches, but the instructions are to cast on 20 stitches.
I've tried various needles and recalculated 7 inches = 35 inches and then rounded up for the natural repeat of the stitch pattern.
After nearly 4 hours fiddling with this pattern this evening, I have a whopping two repeats of the pattern stitch.
I see from the posts that another knitter had the same problem... are oyu open Memorial Day weekend?

tried calling on Sunday, May 25th. After three rings the line went dead.

Try contacting Tamara at the Yarn Garage site in Rosemount, MN. She works there several days a week. I saw the same scarf pattern but found a corrected pattern on the book publisher's web site. The correct # to cast on is 40 stitches.

I have made all the parts to "Bamboo Baby" sweater on page 133 of One-Skein Wonders and I cannot fit the pieces together. Any suggestions?
