A cute little shop in the midst of all the major fabric stores, an oasis ...
The lady who was working there were friendly and helpful and she knew English :-).
It was not really my style of yarn, as I prefer natural materials, but I bought a nice yarn anyway ...:-)

I just can't believe Agneta's comment!!! the lady was kind? Oh my god, what happened? I know this place since age because one of my best friend is actually living in the building up the shop, and the lady is one of his neighbours, and even he agree saying that She is the most bad shop owner that we've ever know!! The lady is really not kind (if you don't know really what your looking for....your dead believe me!), but the shop is specialised in Katia yarns and magazines.

Cute little shop (on a street so brief it's the only numbered building on it) and, as AgnetaWH said, surrounded by fabric stores.
I don't speak French and didn't try to engage in conversation with the owner so I've no opinion there. There was an adorable well behaved little dog however, which was nice.
Cozy with a varied selection of yarns. My favorite of 5 shops so far in Paris (though I plan to visit more still!) Seems to specialize more in diversity then utility/practicality of yarns (which I prefer). I grabbed a single skein of cute Katia yarn I thought was reasonably priced..
My only issue was that there were these signs on every shelf that I couldn't read and intimidated me... I thought they said "no touching" but after boldy fingering some of the yarn and not being scolded, I figured they said something else... not sure what though. I really don't belong in Paris...
