La vendeuse est très sympathique et de bon conseil.
Attention par contre aux horaires d'ouverture, le magasin ferme tôt.

I visited this store while in Paris recently. There was a decent selection, I mostly noted Katia yarns, and many fine sample garments to oggle. The attendant was helpful, spoke some English, and was content to sit back and let me browse. They don't take credit cards, so stop by the ATM just down the street first!

The lady is very nice and gives good advices about yarn choice, and will help you kindly to find the best yarn for your project plus, yarn is very cheap which makes Cat Laine an interesting place to buy yarns.
Be careful at the opening schedules, because this shop closes very early (5pm), but you can go during lunch time if you are not too far from Opera/grands boulevards/Richelieu Druot.
