Just finished the Shop Hop. This shop is in a very nice area. They are trying to do too much at one time. I felt like an annoyance. There were boxes blocking the entrance both inside and outside the door. You can barely walk through the rooms they are so crammed with merchandise. When I asked a question about the yarn I was purchasing the cashier who never smiled just said I don't know. Another lady heard her and was nice enough to find out the answer. Won't be back

The people who work here are incredibly rude to you unless they smell money. That pretty much sums it up.

I've been a customer since 2006, not frequent though, given my distance. I keep going back hoping that the sad feeling I get when I leave is just me, but I don't think it is. Sorry to say this, but I think the staff needs to learn some customer service skills...maybe even some basic social skills.

i've gone here for years, I felt the new staff has been more friendly then some of my past experiences. When they first opened with the new owners I came in looking for some very specific fun fur colors to make some huggable hedgehogs (felted, cute toys) and they really went out of their way to help me find colors that worked.

I've only been once (it was during the remodel), and they were super helpful and friendly. They also had a wide variety of yarns. I haven't been back, just because it is not close to where I live.

I thought this was a good shop. They had good selection of Malbrigo which I love. Worth a visit if your in the area.

Good needlepoint selection but the yarn is literally out of control. No organization that I can see and, the lady at the register is downright nasty.

wow, reading some of these comments I wonder what store they were visiting....It couldn't be MY local yarn store...! I can only speak for myself and my friends that shop there all the time....staff is ALWAYS knowledgeable, friendly and what a great selection....well organized and lots of eye candy. Since the takeover of new owner, I have not ever ever met anyone unkind or rude or uninterested in my business...! I have even walked in with yarn and a project from long ago and they spent a lot of time just helping me find a pattern....not a big cash sale....That really sold me on the new owner....they cared despite making a big sale...

I've wanted to like this shop. I really have. The selection is nice and includes some things I have not found elsewhere, but the service is bad. It all feels very snobbish. Unless the staff knows you already, good luck getting help. I've tried several times and have always been interrupted or just ignored.
I've seen the staff ignore other people as well. Not my idea of an enjoyable experience.
Even on the phone they are rude. How much trouble is it to tell me if you have a particular size knitting needle in stock?

this is my favorite shop in atlanta. it's far from me but well worth the drive - best selection in town and very friendly staff always patient with my questions. i could spend hours here just looking around!

I disagree. I've never gotten good service at this shop. I thought it would be better with the new owner but a few of the same old grumpy employees remain. Lots of yarn but I'd rather spend my dough somewhere nice. sorry but it's true.
