While I think it's fabulous that there is a yarn store in downtown RC, my experience here was a disappointment. It was shortly after they moved. the owner was injured and had no help. Selection is quite good including locally produced yarn. I was totally on my own wandering through the store (which is amusingly reminiscent of the shoe store that used to be there). The single question that I asked - whether they carried straight needles - received the astonishing response that they were still looking for a good supplier. While the owner may love yarn and may love knitting, she did not show any understanding of how to run a business. I know I probably got her on a bad day, hoping things have improved.

I have looked all over the internet trying to find hours for this shop. I would think it would be posted on the blogspot, since that seems to be their only web presence. Just a suggestion for those that are coming by on the interstate trying to hit the place when it is open!

c r yarn now has a website! Come visit our site at cryarn.weebly.com We update the site often and have our hours listed as well. We are open from Monday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm. On Thursday evenings we are open an additional 2 hours from 7 pm to 9 pm. Come in and c r yarn!
