one of the best selections of yarn anywhere!! no cheap poor quality brands there. Will special order almost anything you need. special orders sometime take 2-3 weeks. Ask for help or call ahead. They just received all the new colors, maybe as much as 300 new skeins just came in.

Years ago I went to this shop and the owner embarassed me by saying in front of a group of customers that she needed to mark the cost on an unmarked item so I wouldn't try to return it for more money. I swore I would never go there again and until today I have not. Today I thought swallow my pride and go get this hard to find yarn that they told me on the phone they had. I got there and they said we carry it but I don't know if we have it in stock. The owner then came in, same lady as years ago, and she said I don't have it and I don't know what you are talking about. As they say burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me. I will never, never, never go in that store again for anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Strange place. It's so crammed full of craft stuff, that they have to escort you to the section you seek. But then they leave you alone to dig, which is what I like. I wouldn't go there to buy something specific, because there are boxes in front of and on top of boxes and it would be way too frustrating. But when I have time to kill and I'm close, it's fun to dig around for treasures. My favorite yarns there are Noro Kureyon and Silk Garden, and Cherry Tree Hill. They also have some Schulana 100% angora that is neat to see/touch/covet. Oh yeah . . . and lots of Addi Turbo and Lace circulars!

An incredibly cramped store. There was a huge selection but unlike others here I was watched. As I was wondering through looking and feeling till my hearts content the older lady who'd escorted me to the yarn section showed up and stood at the end of the aisle. She didn't say anything, just stood there. Finally after I said something to her she asked if I was finding everything alright. After I told her I was still looking she just stood there for another couple minutes.
I've never been so mistrusted. I'm younger but I don't consider my late 20's as a high risk shopper. :(

This store defines claustrophobia. Everything is stacked on top of everything else, with the racks of stuff pouring out into the aisles. I can't imagine the fire marshal has ever seen it or else they'd be shut down immediately. While there is a large selection to browse, the atmosphere makes me want to shope elsewhere.
