I have visited this one a couple of times as it is near my Mother-in-law. (I live in Surrey) It has a massive selection of yarns. Not sure how long it will last as the owner may be retiring soon but it is chocka with old stock. "My husband always used to tell me to clear them out" That is why I went there as I am Rowan fan and so are they and they had old stock so I was able to get yarn for Brandon Mably's Plains sweater.

I have used Bobbby Davison for wool for around 7 years now, the shop is an absolute wonderland of wool, the staff are lovely and will do anything to help you, iwill be sad if this shop closes as there arnt any wool shops as good as Bobby Davison anywhere else.

I love Bobby D's, best wool shop around and also the best staff...Viv and Claire are a great team :)
Bobby Davison will not close anytime soon don't worry! The shop is fantastic and doesn't stock old yarns, they have loads of yummy new yarns too and a great knitting group on a Tuesday evening.
