Apparently I was mis-informed. It's not quite open yet.

Great selection of yarns. The store is brand new and very organized. Judy, one of the friendly staff, was awesome! She really took her time to get to know me and introduce me to yarns I've never used before. I came out of the store with a free pattern for a beautiful scarf and a skein of yarn I'm excited to try out! This will definitely be my first stop for yarns and such.

I visited Black Sheep from out of town and found the staff to be super friendly and helpful. I loved the selection of regional, hand-dyed yarns and will certainly visit again!

I walked in and instantly wanted to knit half the sample sweaters on display...inspirational, to say the least. Selection was great, too...would've bought the entire store, were I rich enough...
Service is awesome-friendly, helpful, everything. She went so far as to look up the pattern over the internet so she could help out when we were torn between three colours for a project. I live several hours away and forgot my knitting notebook in the store...they held onto it, and are mailing it back to me. Can't thank them enough. :)

This is the first Yarn Shop I have found in my area - I always find their sample knits and yarn w/ pattern's available to be lovely & making me want to knit them all. The staff here is really quite helpful and got me started with some online knitting sites as well. I just haven't been for a knit night yet - but I plan to!
