The shop is really nice. The few times I've been there I found the customer service to be very helpful in finding things you are looking for or finding alternatives when they don't have it. Most times I needed help though is because I couldn't make sense of the organization of the yarn. Everything seemed to be mixed in together and it was a little frustrating. Their prices are a bit high so I only go when there's something I can'at find at other nearby LYS in a knitting emergency.

The one thing I have learned about GOOD YARD; is that at least it is not "PLASTIC".
Big Sky sells the best and if you want great knitting success that you must use only the best.
The assistance and expertise of owner/operator/designer Lisa is top drawer. The assistance and expertise of Stephanie and Marsha are equal.
This is a great shop. I am glad I found them.

Sorry I mispelled Yarn is my review and also meant to add that Big Sky sells only the best and you will NOT FIND PLASTIC YARN in their shop.

Eye candy! Mostly high-end, and mostly grossly overpriced (e.g. approximately $2.00 more per skein than other shops for basics). Sometimes I feel welcomed, sometimes I feel hustled.

Could certainly be more friendly and helpful. I always feel like I'm interrupting the staff. Expensive.

This is a great store, so much help from a very knowledgeable staff, enough yarn to do a project, not just a scarf! Nice atmosphere to just sit and knit! Knit Night is most fun at this shop!

I popped in here with my sister in law while visiting, cool place - PRICEY though! Of course, the whole area is, so maybe thats just relative. My SIL loves it!

Wonderful shop. Marsha is very helpful! Wish they were open all week. And, wish they had a nice place to sit and visit. There is only one table to sit and knit. But the yarns are beautiful.

I see the hours above state the shop is open Mondays and Tuesdays. It is not, it is closed those days.
