I've visited this shop twice while in Phoenix on business. I found this shop to have *super* friendly staff! I had a blast chatting with them while shopping, and found a TON of yarn and supplies I just had to have (but what's new?). I only needed a set of size 1 DPN's, but got out of that shop about $280 lighter. lol. But seriously - not an acrylic haven, not just sock yarn. Nice variety and nice people.

I agree with Betsy. Nice staff, great yarn choices for knitting lace or felting or just about anything you can think of. Tricky to find the first time but worth the trouble!

The staff, other than the owner, are very friendly. I had a conversation with the owner once discussing several yarns that she doesn't carry. Gee, that woman can sure poo-poo any yarn she doesn't have. She has nothing good to day about any Debbie Bliss product and was even negative about Rowan Calmer. How can you dislike one of the best cotton yarns made? And bamboo needles are bad too, according to Rebecca. Anyway, it's kind of a cliquish atmosphere back at the knitting table, with mostly upper middle class women knitting with very expensive novelty yarn.
