Not the friendliest store I've ever been in, to be sure. I've heard that it's just that the owners are shy, but still. I use it when I know I need a certain color yarn, but the layout isn't really conducive to browsing.

The yarns are organized by color. A neat and inviting store, with some interesting knitting accessories and books, but not a huge selection. I had hoped for a few more variegated yarns. They had some nice stuff on sale.

The lady that helped me seemed a bit impatient with me as a newbie knitter and my fairly basic questions and concerns, but helped me pick out the stuff I needed for my first scarf. She also gave me some helpful advice on a knitting book I bought.

I'm biased because I learned to knit here. I can't imagine a store with more knowledgable owners who are more willing to help when you are stuck on a project. Get to know them. They're nice, I promise!

My LYS! You do need to get to know Kathy and Sharon a bit but they are very helpful. I've also had good luck ordering yarn with them when they do not have what I was looking for. This is also a great place to come by to hang out and crochet without feeling left out for not knitting!
