I really like this store. Not too big and not too small. I learned to knit at this store several years ago & have since taken several of their classes. They offer a very wide variety of classes & products. I would definitely recommend this store to any knitter.

This is one of my favorite stores. The staff is very friendly. I love the location. The choice of yarns, classes, patterns, buttons, bags, etc. is awesome!! I highly recommend this shop.

I stopped by this shop in Old Town Littleton recently and enjoyed my visit. I would say that they have a good selection and are very, very friendly. One of the nicer yarn shops I visited while in the area. Cute shops in the area to also peruse while there. I will go back next time I am in Boulder/Denver.

I work and teach classes at A Knitted Peace, so of course it's one of my favorites. It's a pleasure to be able to work at AKP. I feel very lucky.

Charming and wonderful little shop. I have taken a class here before and it went very well. The staff is pleasant and always seemed happy to help you find a project or yarn. So darn helpful!

it seems that STRING, A KNITTING BOUTIQUE has closed up shop. they have taken their site off KnitMap and probably will be liquidating their inventory and closing the business. they have had some real management problems over the past year and the overheads in Highlands Ranch are just too high to turn a profit. too bad. String, Strang, Strung. bye bye

String is definitely not closed, but please don't use this site for your personal vendettas.

Well, for the second time in 4 days, the STRING BOUTIQUE has taken itself off the Denver knitting knitmap list. What is it hiding???

To the anonymous snake. You have posted to every yarn store site except you somehow left out your spurious venom from Purls. Hmmmmmm? Intrigue.

A Knitted Peace was one of the first stores I visited when I moved to Colorado several years ago. The felt furniture and bags displayed by the front door got me involved in knitting. Even though I live in Parker, I don't mind the drive, it's worth it! I love old town Littleton and enjoy visiting this yarn shop very much. The Savory Spice Shop around the corner is great too!

UPDATE: for the third time in 6 days, the STRING BOUTIQUE has taken itself off the KnitMap list (check for yourself). If they can't even keep a shop lising up on KnitMap, how in the world can they keep a real store open? Symptomatic of that shop, isn't it? (in addition to calling their knitting customers "gaggles of gossipy women") hmmm, why would they treat their customers that way? No way to run a shop IMHO.
