I was very happy to see this new shop open in late June 2011. I first visited this weekend and there were about a dozen people sitting around knitting and chatting in the store, making a very friendly atmosphere. Located on the west side of Eastern, just south of Alger, there is on-street parking and a free parking lot behind the store. Large windows let in a lot of sunlight. Store employees were friendly and came up to welcome me to the store and ask whether they could help me. The yarns on display were arranged by gauge around the perimeter of the store. Berroco, Malabrigo, ArtYarns, Shepherd's Wool were the brands I noticed, though there may have been others. There was also a small selection of books and a display of needles and other tools. The front of the store contained a couple of spinning wheels for people to try. Although I don't buy very much yarn, I am looking forward to having this store in my town.

The store has come a long way since opening in June 2011. There are a lot of yarns to pick from as well as spinning and weaving supplies. Class schedule is starting in October. Fall and winter hours areextended until 5 on Saturday. WiFi is available within the store although not provided by the store. Great place to sit and knit! Glad they are in the neighborhood!
