Amazing selection of yarn. You can browse without being bothered or followed around... staff is almost aloof (or usually sitting at the table knitting). Great light, great "baby" yarn selection. Amazing Galway & Encore colorway availability.

Had a chance a little while ago to check out this store. The selection of yarn was very nice. Prices about what I have seen in other stores. Staff was curious and helpful without being overbearing.

I was visiting a friend and thought I'd stop by a LYS to visit.

Selection was okay, though nothing really jumped out at me.

I was a bit disappointed to find that not a single member of staff greeted me nor seemed to care to. The regular clientele appeared to be hailed cordially, however. I walked out without buying a thing as a result. Spent my money at the nearby pet goods store instead.

The store was nice but I too found the staff unfriendly and snippy when I inquired about classes. I'll take my $$$ elsewhere...

Not really friendly--they don't greet customers, if you come in wearing a handknit they're not going to fawn over it, etc. Now that I'm used to this, I kind of like it--I like to be left alone when I shop and I'm a pretty low-maintenance customer; since the employees don't make things personal at all, I feel like that I can pretty much poke around as long as I want and not feel bad if I walk out having made only a small (or even no) purchase.

They also have a sale area where you can often find some pretty good bargains--they don't mess around when they want to move out stock (usually straight to 50% off), and I think sometimes employees sell off personal stash there, too.

These are the most accommodating "yarners" I've ever met. Anita is a delight, always ready to work with you and help you. A wonderful selection of yarn; all types and all price ranges. I smile as I walk in the door knowing I am going to have a good time. Wish the store was closer to me but until they open a branch in my neighborhood, I'll keep going to Old Ridge Shopping Center.

I THOUGHT THAT THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND I WILL TAKE THE ALMOST 40 MIN. TRIP FROM NEWARK FOR THE SUMPTUOUS YARNS AND EXPERT HELP. THE YARN SHOP IN PIKE CREEK NEVER HAS ANYTHING I WANT, STATING, "WE DON'T CARRY NOVELTY YARNS"-PIP,PIP, PIP-REALLY UNFRIENDLY IF YOU WANT UNFRIENDLY!
ONLY ONE TROUBLE-THEY CALLED ME TO TELL ME THE YARN I ORDERED WAS IN AND NEGLECTED TO LEAVE A PHONE NUMBER-THUS, HERE I AM. SOMEHOW, IN MOVING FROM PLACE TO PLACE TO PLACE, I LOST THE CARD THEY GAVE ME.

YES, SAVE ME THE YARN-LIKE THE VEST ON THE MODEL-BUT IT WILL BE NOV. 19 BEFORE I CAN PICK IT UP.

Staff is friendly and helpful Great baby section. Large selection of yarns.
